Recognizing that this region of emerging countries such as Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, and Venezuela are growing their commerce with countries around the world and leaving behind their old fashioned reputations that they are not countries ready to be recognized as major players in the world economy, BRI, in 2005 opened an office in Santiago, Chile to serve as a regional headquarters for all of South America. Our anticipation was borne out through the receipt of debt recovery business from Asia and Europe as well as from the U.S. and elsewhere in Latin America.

 

Our local presence with Latin American management and staff makes a significant difference in our ability to recover debt. Our Chile management, all of whom are lawyers, provide the urgent and expedient service prevalent in more fast-moving locales such as the US and Europe, and coordinate our regional efforts with local investigators, recovery agents, and law firms.

 

Another benefit flowing from our operations in Chile is the assistance we have been able to render to American companies in conducting moveable equipment audits on a periodic basis, saving our clients the overnight flights from the US, travel through a number of South American countries, as well as providing them with fees in line with costs prevailing in the countries in which our audit services are rendered.
